Description
Visualization and immersive studio provide a 270-degree impressive experience to the users. It is equipped with ten 4K laser projectors to display a seamless image on three walls. The room has state-of-art technology including an Analog way, that provides a high-performance video wall processor and intuitive user interface for ease of set-up classes and technology-rich interactive sessions. Zingange media player is added to enhance the user experience. The media players allow scheduling presentations and shows. It provides true situational awareness and one picture in 270-degree to display information from multiple sources.
The studio can be used in a variety of ways, including
- Interactive and collaborative teaching and learning
- Data visualization and analysis
- High-end, technology-rich presentations
- Immersive computing
The studio is built to serve the Kean community. Students and faculty from all majors and programs can benefit from this studio, especially the one that requires high-end visualization.
Here are some examples of how different classes can benefit from the studio:
- Students can run their programs on one screen, test on another, and display results on a third. This setup is perfect for building and testing high-end graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and complex applications.
- View detailed, close-up images of the human body to enhance anatomy studies.
- History students can study in a virtual city or a place they choose.
- It can recreate and analyze crime scenes, providing a realistic setting for investigative learning.
- T2K classes can conduct virtual tours of multiple campuses.
- Design and architectural students can test 2D/3D images and videos
- Administrators and staff can visualize and analyze data to support studies like retention analysis
