Writing Smart Notes

Writing Smart Notes In-Person / Online

In this workshop, student participants will learn the power of smart note-taking. This session will focus on the following objectives:

-Teach students how to move beyond highlighting and transcription to create organized notes that support critical thinking, deep understanding, and long-term retention,

-Introduce proven strategies—including concept mapping and the Zettelkasten method—to help students connect ideas across courses, and

-Prepare students for research projects and to write effectively overall.

Whether students are working on papers, theses, or just trying to study, this workshop will equip them with practical tools to take their academic work to the next level.
