Choosing a Research Methodology:
This workshop explains the main research methods and helps you decide which approach best fits your research questions and goals. You’ll learn how to justify your choice of methodology for your study.

By the end of this workshop, students will be able to:

  1. Describe common qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches and when to use them.

  2. Match research questions to appropriate methodologies to ensure alignment with their study’s purpose.

  3. Develop a brief justification for their chosen methodology based on their research topic and questions.
