This brief webinar is being offered in celebration of National Library Week 2025!

This workshop will explore EndNote 21 (for desktop), a tool for Kean faculty and students to manage sources and generate bibliographies in multiple citation styles. See how article citations may be exported from various databases into an EndNote account and how Cite While You Write may be used for seamless in-text citations and bibliography creation. 

Learning Objectives:

  • The workshop will guide participants through the steps required to download EndNote 21 onto their personal computer or laptop.
  • The workshop will review the process of accessing relevant databases and finding articles focusing on specific topics.
  • The workshop will cover how to use a database's Export option to export (send) article information from the database into an EndNote account.
  • The workshop will review options for organizing sources in EndNote and for creating bibliographies in various citation styles.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will be aware of the option to download EndNote 21 software from Kean University's available applications.
  • Participants will be able to export article records from various databases into an EndNote library.
  • Participants will be able to organize exported records into EndNote "groups," which may then be shared with collaborators.
  • Participants will be familiar with the Cite While You Write plugin as well as other options available through EndNote for creating bibliographies in a variety of citation styles.
