Research Poster Design In-Person
The workshop will guide students through the process of creating academic posters for conferences and presentations. Participants will learn how to distill complex research into concise and engaging content that communicates their findings to a broad audience. The session will cover key design principles, including layout, typography, color schemes, and visual hierarchy, ensuring that each poster is both aesthetically appealing and easy to navigate. Students will explore strategies for highlighting the most important aspects of their research while avoiding information overload. The workshop will also include tips on how to use graphics, charts, and images to support their narrative and enhance understanding. Through hands-on activities, students will have the opportunity to start designing posters and receive feedback from peers and instructors.
