Bridging the Divide -

Bridging the Divide - Online

Join us for 'Bridging the Divide,' a crucial conversation aimed at uniting faculty members concerned about the disparities in the treatment of people of color within the Kean community. This interactive session seeks to open dialogue, foster understanding, and explore actionable steps towards achieving equity and inclusivity on campus. By bringing to light the experiences and challenges faced by faculty of color, we aim to create a collaborative platform for sharing insights, strategies, and commitments to bridge any divides. Together, we can work towards a more cohesive, respectful, and fair academic environment for all. Be part of this important discussion to make a difference in our community.

Part of the Series: Fostering Equity through Critical Conversations

The "Fostering Equity through Critical Conversations" initiative at Kean University presents a series of educational workshops and open discussions, pushing forward our commitment to creating an equitable and inclusive academic environment. This series provides a dynamic platform for faculty to actively engage in dialogues that promote inclusivity. Central to this initiative is the focus on innovative teaching, policy reform, and continuous dialogue around topics of anti-racism and such, aiming to transform ideals of equity and inclusivity into tangible realities within the university.
