Ever wonder how to get the most out of your Google Scholar searches? Join us for this brief online workshop, where we will dive into all things Google Scholar!

Learning Objectives:

  • The workshop will introduce the basics of a scholarly article, what it is, how it works and how to use it most efficiently. 
  • The workshop will discuss the creation of a scholarly article and why it differs from other sources.
  • The workshop will cover the different parts of scholarly articles, as well as their functions. 
  • The workshop will feature a discussion about the utility of scholarly articles and why they look like they do. 
  • The workshop will show how members of the Kean community may use certain tools to better understand scholarly articles.


Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will be aware of and able to access the scholarly articles.
  • Participants will be able to identify key components of scholarly articles. 
  • Participants will be able to focus on the most important part of a scholarly article for their particular topic. 
  • Participants will be aware of how best to use and understand scholarly articles.
